Over these past few days, have you had people ask you what your new years' resolution(s) was? I sure have. What did you tell them?

My response?... "Don't have one." Period. Nothing else to say. I live every day with life goals in mind, work toward them slowly and surely, but at my own pace. Maybe that's just me getting older. Maybe that's just wisdom learned from years of experience, not to set so many goals and limit yourself to 12 months. I used to do that when I was younger, and always, I was disappointed. No more. No resolutions, no panic, no disappointment, no extra responsibilities. My goal for this year is to just be. Just be happy in my own skin, do my own thing, and do the best I can.

I hope that's your 2026 resolution if you have one: don't sweat the small stuff... and it's all small stuff.
