Fern Valley Cozy Mystery Series
Dear [Name, fallback=Mystery Lover],
Sometimes, my mind draws a blank. Ideas have said "good-bye", and in the middle of winter, when the chores have lessened, the time for writing is abundant and I should be writing... my mind draws a blank. I'm dealing with that now. The virtual "empty page" just sits there staring back at me, as if to mock.
When the weather is cold, I can't sit in my Adirondack chairs on the back porch and contemplate my writer's block. Sitting out there all bundled up and shivering makes it worse. I gaze out the window at my snow-covered greenhouse and dream of warmer days. (Here is a picture of my greenhouse.)
But have no fear! I already have one book finished and in the editing stages, and you'll still be able to read the next Fern Valley Mystery, "The Big-City Preacher." Be on the lookout for it by the end of the month. (You can read the introduction here)
Fern Valley lives on, and I'm sure by then I'll get another story idea - no matter how "hair-brained" - and run with it.
