Hello Mystery Lovers!
Last week, I asked you to share a real-life "mystery" from your own neighborhood - and let me tell you, you all did NOT disappoint! 😄
One response in particular had me absolutely cackling. Reader C. Jones wrote in with this gem:
"I haven't worked out the innocent explanation yet, but our neighbor across the street keeps fooling with the area between the front left and back left corners of his house. He goes out there almost daily to check the area in the evening, and if I didn't know him better, I'd think he might have a body buried out there like Raymond Burr did in Rear Window!" 😳🕵️♀️
C. Jones, I need you to keep us updated on this one! Is it a secret garden? A buried time capsule? Or... something more sinister? 👀 Either way, I love that you're keeping an eye on the neighborhood like any good amateur sleuth would!
On a personal note, I had the most wonderful time this past week with a family visit. My sister, brother-in-law, and my 93-year-old father made the two-day drive to come see me. Having them here was both regenerating and tiring all at once, but I wouldn't trade that exhaustion for anything in the world. We had such a wonderful time together.
Realistically, I doubt my dad will be able to make that trip again, so every moment I got to spend with him felt all the more precious. I'm so grateful for the time we had. 💛
